What we do
Member benefits:
The Creativity Collective is an artistic community. It is an organization of multi-disciplinary artists committed to supporting artists and their projects. These are just a few of our benefits.
Education:
Education opportunities will be available through our through networking, meetings, the Artisan's Almanac and more. Classes will be available with a waived registration fee for our members. Committees provide forums for artists young and old to learn new skills.
Resumé building:
We are seeking individuals who want to cut their teeth in management. The Creativity Collective gives our skilled members an opportunity to shine as the head of committees and major projects, projects that could beef up any resume with successful programming.
Competitions:
In addition to being part of a giant network of artists, members will be chosen to be featured in The Artisan's Almanac and on the web. There will be play competitions, film competitions and talent shows, as well.
Networking:
Artists can share resources through our Innovative Women, general meeting and during project development.
Projects:
In-house projects will provide education and volunteer opportunities. Projects will be developed yearly, including a play and a film project. Past projects include:
- A Legacy of Bravery
- KU Stories
- In the Company of Killjoys
- Fashion Show and Beauty Bazaar
- Klamath Welcome Service
- Field of Screams
We provide these projects to grow creative partnerships between artists and our region and to provide revenue to support our organization.
Web exposure:
Our website is our greatest resource and a place where the artist's voice can be heard. Check out our gallery
Print exposure:
The Creativity Collective publishes The Artisan's Almanac, an artist's resource/directory and event schedule
