Project: Shoot Southern Oregon
Project: Shoot Southern Oregon is dedicated to providing resources to videographers, film-makers, actors, production crews, and scriptwriters.
Project: Shoot Southern Oregon Committee conducts film and video related activities such as planning, executing and marketing film projects and programming. These activities are conducted monthly and are either in-house or in the community. These activities further the exempt purposes of The Creativity Collective by providing resources, networking, opportunities and experience for local screenwriters, actors, directors, editors, make-up artists, location owners and film supporters. These projects also spark creative partnerships between artists and the community. The committee works 90 percent of the time on these activities. The remaining 10 percent is providing content for the Artisans Almanac artist resource magazine and The Art with a Heartbeat conference. Project: Shoot Southern Oregon will fund itself through DVD sales, monetary contributions, in-kind contributions, the artist magazine, yearly conference and additional organization programming. Project: Shoot Southern Oregon hopes to have a film studio in-house in the future.
