Our major event is the Educator Appreciation Mixer. The purpose of this event is to honor local educators for their contribution to our community. Innovative Women chooses educators based on nominations from the community. The educators receive their award during a mixer that has free h'orderves and casual networking opportunities. Award is for both male and female educators, Sunday school teachers, college professors, dance instructors, coaches, and special education instructors.

Innovative Appreciation Mixer
Local women's networking group, Innovative Women would like to present the Educator Appreciation Mixer. Free h'orderves and casual networking opportunity and award ceremony for local educators. Innovative Women will announce winner of innovative educator award, monthly.
Begins in April, on the first Friday of the month -- so nominate your educator today! Award is for both male and female educators, Sunday school teachers, college professors, dance instructors, coaches, and special education instructors. The innovative educator award includes the name of the nominee and the facility where they work or volunteer.
The criteria for an Innovative Educator could include community involvement, the ability to deeply engage students, creative use of resource, innovative processes, creative fundraising, and out of class mentoring. There is also a narrative as to why this educator should be nominated: (50-100 words). People who want to nominate and educator can download the form below. Forms can be drop off or mailed to The Creativity Collective, Attention: Innovative Women. 809 Main St. Klamath Falls, OR 97601, (there is a black mailbox in the doorway of 809 Main) OR email to Christy@optiluxdesign.com. Winner will be announced quarterly online at www.creativitycollective.com/innovative_women
